Have you ever seen the outside of a place and thought to yourself "Man, that looks really cool. I wonder what it's like inside?"
Before I was lucky enough to photograph Patrick and Karen's September 2016 wedding at Aldrich Mansion, that's exactly how I felt about the place where they would tie the knot.
I've seen a lot of churches in my day and I'm a sucker for the way they're built and the history behind them. Aldrich Mansion's chapel, located on what is already a spectacular location, is a top-notch place to get married.
From the blecher-style historic pews to the hidden passage ways that let photographers get angles they NEVER get otherwise, it's a picture perfect spot to have the most important ceremony of your life and that's what I loved the most about Patrick and Karen's big day.
Plus, if that wasn't enough already, this bride and groom had a beautifully classy fall affair with some of the nicest uplighting I've ever seen inside one of the most unique reception areas in New England.
Top it all off with the most insane dessert selection I've ever seen at a wedding and you've got a wedding that was truly sweet for a lot of reasons. Pun intended.
