Happy Fourth of July!

Paul J. Spetrini presents ...

One of my favorite things to do from an experimental-photography standpoint is to take firework photos. There's something beautiful about a dark sky lit up exclusively by the bright and bold colors of a great firework show and this year was no different.

While I didn't shoot these for anyone in particular, I took these for fun and I think they came out pretty well overall.

These photos were taken on Saturday, July 5th, 2014 at Oakland Beach in Warwick, Rhode Island. This is still a work-in-progress for me and I really need to get a remote shutter but I'm happy with the progress I've made thus far and can't wait for the next time I get to get out there.
