Lost in the shuffle of wedding planning and all the things that go along with it is the REAL purpose of a couple saying "I do."
That, in a nutshell, is love.
Tonight I was blessed to shoot Krystal and Ian's wedding.
The two are a very religious couple and, I'll be honest, it was something I don't see too often in this generation of young adults so it took me aback at first. But it was such a privilege to see two people so on the same page about a very important part of their life and it filled my soul watching how happy they made each other.
So here's a sneak peak of tonight's action.
I love this photo because, to me, it is a perfect representation of Krystal and Ian's big day. Take away the fancy dress and formal wear.
Get rid of the flowers, rings, place cards, bands, etc. If you boil a wedding down to it's core, it's all about little moments like this.
A kiss on the cheek, a whispered "I love you." THESE are the moments I live for. THESE are the moments that make this the best job in the world.
So congratulations Krystal and Ian and best of luck on your honeymoon.
I'll see you soon.
