I'll be honest with you. The hardest part of my job as a freelancer photographer is keeping up with the sheer volume of photos I take on a day-to-day basis.
When you're at two, sometimes three, assignments a day and shoot multiple weddings on your own a month, it's all too easy to get buried in a mountain of unchecked photographs.
Nowhere is this more true than in my sports photography. Though it makes up the bulk of what I do during the week (during high school season at least), it's often the last thing I want to keep up with.
And so, it's with great pride that I reveal my Spring 2016 sports highlights.
It might not seem like much given that we're now fully in the summer sports season but the Spring sports season JUST ended about seven hours ago and, because I've kept up with the photos all season long, I've already got my galleries of favorites done and ready to show off.
I had a great time this spring sports season. While I didn't photograph nearly as many events as I usually do during a spring sports season (Blame the seven weddings I've done this year already for that,) the quality is still there and sports remain one of my favorite things to photograph each week.
So, if you've got some time, scroll through the newest galleries on my site and let me know what you think.
The majority of these are shots that I took for Mare Studios and for www.risportsphoto.com but there are a couple that I took that appeared in the South County Independent and the North East Independent newspapers.
So if you want to see some great Rhode Island athletes and awesome sports moments, check out my new spring sports photo galleries. Please click here for the beginning of the season, here for the middle of the season and here for the end of the season.
As always, thanks for checking out my website. See you sports fans in the fall!
