There are few things more exciting for a wedding photographer than the start of a new wedding season and the very first shoot of a year. And for me, Nate & Kaytii's May 1st wedding at Meadowbrook Inn in Charlestown, Rhode Island couldn't have come at a better time. Not only was this an event I looked forward to for a full six months but it was a beautiful reminder of why I love weddings in the first place.
Nate & Kaytii are an incredibly sweet couple and their one goal for their wedding day was to make it as fun and laid back as possible.
Not only did they accomplish that but they did so in their own unique way and by the time this night was over, I knew this bride and groom got everything they hoped for and much more from their big day ... and so did I.
And I can't think of a better way to have begun what promises to be an amazing year of awesome New England weddings.
